This recipe contains chickpeas, olive oil, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and paprika. INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. paprika
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder

CHICKPEAS:

  • We use the chickpea can to make these crispy snacks. We have to properly drain all the water and dry them before. You can also boil the chickpeas at home for this purpose.

OLIVE OIL:

  • Use the olive oil in a small quantity to add crispiness and a golden color. Use the avocado oil instead if required.

PAPRIKA POWDER:

  • Paprika powder will add a warm flavor and color to these chickpeas. Use the smoke paprika instead to add the smoky & warm flavor. Use the chili powder or cayenne pepper instead to add the spiciness.

SALT:

  • Use the salt to naturally boost the nutty taste of these chickpeas. Use the fine salt so it spreads evenly on the chickpeas. Add the quantity of salt as you like.

BLACK PEPPER:

  • It will add the light spiciness and also balance the seasoning. Use the fresh ground pepper for the strong taste.

GARLIC POWDER:

  • It will increase the savory flavor of these chickpeas. Garlic powder will spread equally on all chickpeas than garlic. Use the onion powder or a mixture of different herbs instead to add a different flavor profile.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Open the chickpea can and strain all the water, and wash them.
  2. Then add the chickpeas to the towel and dry them completely.
  3. Add the chickpeas to the dish and sprinkle seasoning on it.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil on them and stir so they get coat equally.
  5. Now warm the air-fryer at 190 degrees C for three minutes.
  6. Add the chickpeas in one layer in the basket & air fry for twelve to fifteen minutes.
  7. Shake the basket in between and cook till crisp.
  8. Cool for five minutes so they crisp and serve.
