This cheese toast sandwich is made with almond flour bread slices so it is grain-free and gluten-free as well low in carbs as well as perfect to have in keto. But this recipe is not for dairy intolerant people because it contains cheese & butter so if you substitute the cheese and butter with plant-based cheese and dairy-free butter then this recipe becomes dairy-free. INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 slices of keto almond flour bread
  • 4 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unstiffened butter
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

ALMOND FLOUR BREAD:

  • I use slices of almond flour bread to make this recipe which is a low-carb substitute of bread in place of wheat bread.

MOZZARELLA CHEESE:

  • I use shredded mozzarella cheese in this toast sandwich because mozzarella cheese gets melted easily in the sandwich.

BUTTER & MAYONNAISE:

  • I use butter & mayonnaise to make them smooth & rich; we can also replace the mayonnaise with cream cheese to make it more tasty & delicious.

INSTRUCTION:

  1. Heat the air fryer to 370 degrees F for 3 to 5 mints.
  2. Take the almond flour bread slices and apply the butter on the outer side and mayonnaise on the inner side.
  3. Add the cheese slices in between the mayonnaise layer of slices & also season them with garlic powder & herbs.
  4. Then put the sandwich in the air fryer from the butter side on the basket.
  5. Air fry them for 4 to 6 minutes at 370 degrees F, turning the side of the sandwich in between the time.
  6. When they get done put them on the plate slice the sandwich in half with the knife and serve with keto-friendly ketchup.

TIPS:

  • We can air fry the sandwiches at a higher temperature if we want to make the sandwich extra crispy.
  • You can also use turkey bacon or exclude the bacon, and then vegetarian people also follow this recipe to make the toast.
  • We can also sprinkle some red pepper flakes to make those sandwiches somewhat spicy.
