Ingredients

  • Raw Fat-free ground Turkey 1 Ib
  • Cooked Bacon 6 slices
  • Light Cream Cheese 4oz
  • Light Sour Cream 1/3 cup
  • Reduced sugar ketchup 2tbsps
  • Mustard 2tbsp
  • Canned diced tomatoes 1 cup
  • Grated reduced-fat cheese 1 cup

Ingredient Notes

Turkey:

  • Use zero-fat turkey meat to balance the serving point of Weight Watchers and calories.

Cream Cheese:

  • Add soft and room temperature light cream cheese.

Sour cream:

  • We add this cream for an acidic/tangy taste.

Ketchup:

  • Use reduced sugar (unsweetened) ketchup to keep the Weight Watchers points zero (0). Otherwise, sugar-containing ketchup contains 2 points of Weight Watchers.

Mustard:

  • We use Dijon mustard.

Tomatoes:

  • I used canned tomatoes, easily purchased from any store. Otherwise, use fresh tomatoes instead of canned ones.

Cheese:

  • Any low-fat cheese will work. I suggest using Trader Joe’s brand mozzarella cheese.

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken and bacon into thin slices with a knife.
  2. Wash the meat with clean water.
  3. Next, add bacon and chicken slices in two different nonstick pots.
  4. Then, cook at low to medium flame for seven to ten minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, heat the oven at 350 degrees F.
  6. Now, mist the baking tray with cooking spray/olive oil.
  7. After that, add cooked turkey, softened cream cheese, diced tomatoes, ketchup, half a cup of grated cheese with bacon, and mustard in a bowl.
  8. Combine all items with a spoon. Transfer this mixture to a baking tray.
  9. Decorate it with half cheese, and bacon.
  10. Now, bake this dip mixture in the oven for seventeen to twenty minutes.
  11. After baking, top with green onions, grated lettuce, red onion, and tomatoes.
  12. The tasty Weight Watchers Ground Turkey cheese dip is ready.
  13. Transfer this dip into a small box/jar.
  14. Serve with pita bread, tortillas, or veggies.

Storage Information

Advance Preparation:

  • To make it ahead of time, bake the dip for twenty minutes, and follow the cooking directions all the way through. Wrap the dish with a plastic sheet or silver foil and refrigerate for an entire night. You only need to bake it for twenty minutes to get game time.

Fridge:

  • You can store the dip in a tight container for 4/5 days in a refrigerator.

Freezer:

  • The freezing option is not suitable due to the use of cream cheese, sour cream, and grated reduced-fat cheese.

Reheating:

  • Add the dip in a pan and heat it over low flame for 4/5 minutes. We add a small amount of water or milk to this dip to maintain the dip’s thickness.
