INSTRUCTIONS:

PREPARATION:

  1. Set the oven to its lowest temperature to get it heated before start working
  2. Spread the sheet of parchment to cover the baking tray.

BLEND:

  1. Plug in the high-speed blender.
  2. Add fruit slices to the jug of the blender.
  3. Start the blender and blend till you get the smooth fruit puree.
  4. Add lemon or lime juice and blend once again to mix it.

BAKING:

  1. Take the pre-lined baking tray and spread the smooth fruit puree.
  2. Insert the baking tray with the fruit puree for 180 or 240 minutes.
  3. Observe the moisture content in it by placing your finger.
  4. It should not stick to the center of the fruit leather.
  5. Once the dehydration of the fruit puree spread satisfies you. Then take it out.
  6. Take off the sheet of parchment along with dehydrated fruit leather once it cools.
  7. Then place it on the cutting board.
  8. You have to cut it into five pieces length-wise.
  9. Then cut in a horizontal way to make 10 pieces.
  10. Roll up the pieces to make them more presentable.

TIPS:

  1. Always choose ripe fruits for this purpose for more taste.
  2. Let us suppose that your fruit gets trapped in your blender’s blades. Then you can either use the spatula to set it or stop the blender and restarting it will help you.

STORAGE INFORMATION:

FREEZER: Use the freezer to keep the fruit leather safe for 6 or 8 months in a locked container.
FRIDGE: Place the rollups of fruit leather in the locked container and consume it in 3 or 4 days.
