I use chicken sausage in the recipe. You can use turkey sausage or any other of your choice.
You can use white wine in place of chicken broth.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Start heating your skillet on medium flame and add olive oil to it.
  2. Add sausage to the skillet and make them brown from both sides.
  3. Include chicken broth and remove the skillet from heating.
  4. In the crock pot, first add garlic, onions, and pepper.
  5. Now add salt, red pepper flakes, basil, and parsley.
  6. Then pour marinara sauce and add sausage to the pot.
  7. You can cook it for 3 hours with high heat or for 6 hours with low heat.
  8. At the end, remove the lid of the pot and mix everything.

SERVING SUGGESTION:

The quantity of the dish is enough to serve 2 to 3 persons.
