TOOLS:

INGREDIENTS:

  • One-fourth cup of cream (whipped)
  • Milk of almond (unsweetened), 2 cups
  • Two tablespoons of keto sweetener (your choice)
  • Instant coffee powder, 2 tablespoons
  • 0.5 tsp of allspice
  • Ginger (ground), half tsp
  • 1/2 tsp of nutmeg
  • Powder of cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon

INGREDIENT NOTES:

GINGERBREAD SPICES:
The traditional gingerbread spice mix contains powdered cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, & allspice.

COFFEE:
Use the brewed coffee (strong) by using double the quantity of coffee grounds. If your home has a coffee maker, then include an ounce of espresso per cup.

SWEETENER:
You need to add a sweetener to have the best taste. We are using a brown sugar substitute here. You may use any powdered, granulated, or liquid keto sweetener.

CREAM:
It is not a compulsory item. If you want to have the true experience of a Starbucks drink, top your coffee with whipped cream.

MILK:
You may use regular milk but if you want to lower your carb count further, then go for almond milk, soy milk, oat milk, etc.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Pick a little saucepan & add the milk, gingerbread spices, coffee, & sweetener to it.
  2. Set the pot over a regular flame on the stove.
  3. Lower the flame once it starts simmering.
  4. Move it with a whisk in a continuous manner for 2/3 minutes.
  5. Now turn the flame off.
  6. Place 2 cups on the kitchen shelf.
  7. Fill them with gingerbread coffee.
  8. Garnish with whipped cream & serve.

 

TIPS:

If you want a quick coffee, then make the gingerbread syrup earlier. You only have to heat the water & sweeteners with the gingerbread spices till it thickens. Use it when it comes to the surrounding temperature.

You can heat some milk in a separate way & then use the frother to have some foamy milk on top.
