Pepperoni Pizza Casserole

Ingredients

  • Lean ground turkey 1Ib
  • Medium onion 1, chopped
  • Garlic clove 1, minced
  • Olive oil 2tbsp
  • Tomato sauce 30oz
  • Italian Seasoning 1tsp
  • Rotini pasta 12ounces. Use low-carb pasta to reduce the Weight Watchers points.
  • Low-fat Mozzarella cheese 1 cup, grated
  • Fat-free Mozzarella cheese 1cup
  • Turkey pepperoni 32 slices
  • Black olives 2tbsp, cut into slices
Topping
  • Top with different varieties of vegetables like bell peppers, mushrooms, carrots, tomato, and onion. It is optional.

Instructions

  1. To bake the pepperoni pizza first, preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Meanwhile, cook the pasta and other pizza ingredients.
  3. Add 2-3 cups of water with 1 tsp salt in the pan. Boil it over a high heat.
  4. Now add pasta into a boil water.
  5. Simmer pasta for 15 minutes or follow the instructions mentioned in the packet.
  6. When pasta boils, remove its extra water. Set aside the pasta.
  7. Next, over a medium flame heat the olive oil in a large pan.
  8. Add ground turkey, chopped garlic, and onion to the same pan.
  9. For 15-20 minutes simmer the beef or until the meat is tender.
  10. When meat is cooked, shift into a bowl.
  11. Take a medium-sized bowl. Add boiled pasta, cooked meat, pepperoni, grated Mozzarella cheese, and Italian seasoning to this bowl.
  12. Combine all ingredients.
  13. Next, spray the baking tray with olive oil.
  14. Add pasta mixture to this tray.
  15. Top it with the remaining cheese, pepperoni, and black olives.
  16. You can also add vegetables like sliced mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes.
  17. Placed an aluminum foil cover over the tray, and put it into the oven.
  18. For 15-20 minutes bake the pizza or until the sides are crunchy and the cheese melts.
  19. After baking, unwrap the tray, and bake it again for 10 minutes.
  20. The tasty Weight Watchers pizza is ready to eat and serve.
  21. Serve it with homemade ketchup, dips, and sauces.
