INGREDIENT NOTES:

Sugar-Free Gelatin:

  • This is what sets the jelly in and tastes it. Take your favorite brand or flavor, whether it is cherry, raspberry/orange.

Boiling Water:

  • For the gelatin powder to dissolve entirely, it must be heated. Freshly boiled water will give the best results.

Cold Water:

  • Chill the mixture and make the mixture set quicker. This is not a part to overlook.

Fresh Fruit (Optional):

  • Raspberries, blueberries/strawberries are perfect. It just needs to make sure to use fruits that do not stop the jello from setting (no pineapple or kiwi).

Fat Free Whipped Topping:

  • It is not required, but it provides the top with creaminess. Take a small spoonful of it to achieve a festive appearance.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Bring water to a boil, 2 cups.

TIPS:

  • To color the layers, use various gelatin flavors. Pour, and one layer when it is cold.
  • Chopped fruit may be added when the gelatin is beginning to cool. This avoids floating.
  • Do not use pineapple, kiwi/mango, they make gelatin refuse to set.
  • For parties, use fun cups or silicone molds.
  • To add more flavor, add a drop of vanilla.
  • Fruit parfaits can be made using this recipe as a foundation point.

STORAGE DETAILS:

FRIDGE:

  • Keep in a tightly closed container in the freezer. It keeps nicely in the freezer for four to five days. Keep it covered to prevent drying out.
