Creamy Italian Chicken

Ingredients

  • Boneless Chicken Breast 1pound
  • Italian Dressing Seasoning Mix 0.7oz packet
  • Fat-free cream cheese of Chicken soup 10oz
  • Reduced-fat cheese cream 4oz
  • Nonfat Greek Yogurt 1/2cup
  • Water 3tbsps

Ingredient Notes

Boneless Chicken: We used fat-free boneless to cook Creamy Italian Chicken. Try this recipe with reduced-fat beef, or turkey to maintain Weight Watchers Points.
Italian Dressing Seasoning: I used this ingredient to give an Italian taste to the meal.
Cream Cheese: Use regular or low-fat cheese. I prefer you to use low-fat cheese to lower the calories.
Nonfat Greek Yogurt: It gives a creamy texture to the dish.

Instructions

Slow Cooker

  1. Mist a slow cooker with cooking spray.
  2. Add the first layer of chicken and season it with Italian Dressing Seasoning.
  3. Next, add Fat-free cream cheese of Chicken soup over the Italian dressing.
  4. Sprinkle over Reduced-fat cheese cream and water.
  5. Close the slow cooker and simmer on slow flame for 3-4 hours.
  6. After 5 hours, shift the chicken to a clean plate.
  7. Cut the chicken into small pieces.
  8. Shift back this chicken to the slow cooker.
  9. Add Plain non-fat Greek Yogurt to this chicken.
  10. Mix all ingredients. Cook it for another 5-7 minutes.
  11. The tasty Creamy Italian Chicken is ready to serve.

Instant Pot

  1. Spray the instant pot with cooking spray.
  2. Season boneless chicken with Italian Seasoning, then add to the instant pot.
  3. Add Fat-free cream cheese of Chicken soup over the Italian dressing.
  4. Sprinkle over Reduced-fat cheese cream and water.
  5. Set the instant pot to high pressure.
  6. Cook all ingredients at high pressure for about 10-20 minutes.
  7. After 20 minutes, place the chicken on a clean plate.
  8. Shred the chicken by using a fork.
  9. Add this shredded chicken with plain non-fat Greek Yogurt to the instant pot.
  10. Combine all ingredients. Cook it to a high flame for another 7-8minutes.
  11. The delicious creamy Italian Chicken is ready to eat.
