Dole Whip

Equipment

  • Measuring cup
  • Food Processor
  • Fork
  • Small serving bowl

Ingredients

  • Reduced fat Milk 3/4 cup
  • Pineapple 1 1/2cups
  • Banana 1
  • Ice cubes, 1 cup

Ingredient Notes

Milk: We used low-fat milk to prepare the whip. You may use your choice of milk, like almond or coconut milk.
Pineapple: frozen pineapple works well with this dish. Fresh One converts this dish into a smoothie texture.
Banana: I use ripe bananas instead of fresh store-bought bananas.
Ice cubes: We may use a limited quantity of ice cubes to avoid making the whip watery.

Instructions

  1. Take a measuring cup. Add low-fat milk to this cup and measure it.
  2. Next, peel off the banana layer and mash with the help of a fork.
  3. Take a good-quality food processor.
  4. Add milk, canned pineapple, ice cubes, and mashed banana to this processor.
  5. Blend all items for 2/3 minutes or until pineapple blends well.
  6. The creamy whip is ready. Serve it in a small serving bowl.

Tips

  1. Top it with your favorite flavored ice cream, or add pineapple chunks over the whip.
  2. Change the recipe by adding unique fruits like raspberries, mango, or strawberries.
  3. Instead of using a food processor, you can use a blender.
  4. Blend it until it gives the right amount of thickness.
  5. Add a pinch of salt and lime juice to adjust the sweetener flavor. But it’s optional.

Storage Information

Fridge: Seal the remaining whip in a tight box/jar and refrigerate it for 3/5 days.
Freezer: There are two methods to freeze the whip. First, pack the whip in a safe box and place it in the freezer for twenty to thirty minutes before serving.
It will maintain the consistency of the whip.
You may also freeze it for a long duration in the freezer for 1/2 months. Consume it later.
