Keto Baked Avocado Chips

These Keto Baked Avocado Chips have a crispy, crunchy texture and fewer carbs. We make these chips with different kinds of ingredients, such as mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, ripe avocados, black pepper, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, paprika, and salt. They are all simple components, but maybe you don’t have them at home, so you may need to purchase them from the grocery stores or food stores. They contain 165 kcal of caloric content and 2.5 g of net carbs in 8 to 10 chips of a single serving.  We can make these chips in only half an hour total with simple methods. Keto Baked Avocado Chips are perfect for weekday snacks, lunches, events, appetizers, gatherings, and dinners. Since these avocado chips release water and become softer after defrosting, we do not advise storing them. But we can refrigerate it for 3 days. Serve these chips with garlic-butter shrimp or Caesar.

  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • Paprika, ½ tsp.

INGREDIENT NOTES AND THEIR KETO SUBSTITUTIONS:

GARLIC POWDER:

  • This powder improves the flavor and gives a savory, deep taste in these chips. I use salt or onion powder instead.

PARMESAN CHEESE:

  • It provides a salty and nutty flavor with a crispy texture. I utilize the pecorino romano, pork rinds, or nutritional yeast as a replacement.

AVOCADOS:

  • Avocados are the main component, which provides good fat content. We alternate them with the zucchini slices to make these chips.

LEMON JUICE:

  • This juice helps to prevent the texture from getting brown and provides brightness. I use lime juice as a substitute.

MOZZARELLA CHEESE:

  • It aids in binding and makes them crisp. Alternatively, I utilize the Monterey Jack, cheddar, or provolone.

PAPRIKA:

  • Paprika gives color and a warm taste to these avocado chips. I swap it with chili powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, or cayenne.
