  • An oven
  • A saucepan

INGREDIENTS:

  • Halved Brussels sprouts, two pounds
  • 1/2 cup of almond milk (unsweetened)
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar), 1 + 1/2 cup
  • Half a teaspoon of powdered peppercorn
  • 2 tbsp of butter (unsalted)
  • A teaspoon of sea salt
  • 1/2 cup of cream (heavy)
  • Oil of olives, 1 tbsp
  • One-fourth cup of bacon bits

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Heat the oven to 204 Celsius at the beginning of work.
  2. Choose two pans measuring about 23 by 33 cm.
  3. Cover them either with parchment, foil, or mats of silicone.
  4. Wash & dry the sprouts and then cut them in halves.
  5. Coat your Brussels sprouts with oil of olive.
  6. Sprinkle the powdered peppercorns & salt.
  7. Make sure to season each Brussels sprout in an even manner.
  8. Then make a layer of these seasoned Brussels sprouts on a prepared pan.
  9. Insert the pan of Brussels sprouts in the oven & set the timer for 40 or 45 minutes.
  10. Change its side after half of the time has passed.
  11. While our seasoned sprouts are roasting, melt the butter in a saucepan.
  12. Include cream (heavy) & milk of almond and heat them.
  13. At this point, add a cup of cheese & wait for it to melt.
  14. Include the remaining powdered peppercorns & sea salt.
  15. Place the baked sprouts in a 9 by 9-inch baking pan once they are best roasted.
  16. It is time to pour the sauce you made earlier over the roasted sprouts.
  17. Spread the bacon bits & half a cup of grated cheese on the surface.
  18. Re-insert it in the oven for the cheese to melt and start to golden brown.

TIPS:

Keep the sauce runny so that it will absorb into the Brussels sprouts to make them more flavorful.
Always use cooked bacon. Either cook it by yourself or buy the cooked one to save your time.
