  • A Single teaspoon of Lime Zest
  • Softened Butter, 3 tablespoons
  • 1/4 cup of sweetener, low-calorie.

LIST FOR FILLING:

  • Five Beaten eggs, Large.
  • 1 cup of Lime Juice.
  • Lime Zest, 1 teaspoon.
  • Half a cup of Coconut Milk
  • 1 tablespoon of Melted butter
  • Half a cup of Natural sweetener, powdered & low-calorie.

TOPPING:

  • 1/2 tbsp. of Zest of Lime.
  • Two tablespoons of Coconut, Shredded.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • PREPARATION:
  1. Take an 8 by 8-inch baking dish and coat its bottom and all four sides with a little oil.
  2. Switch the oven on & heat it to 175 Celsius, then start working.
  • CRUST MAKING:
  1. Grab a big Vessel. Add sweetener, almond flour, coconut flour, salt, and lime zest.
  2. Combine all the dry ingredients very well.
  3. Now add the softened butter and mix it very well till the mixture turns crumbly.
  4. Press the prepared mixture of crust into the baking pan (bottom).
  5. Press well to make an even crust layer.
  6. Insert the baking pan into the Oven that is already heated.
  7. Set the timer for about 12 or 15 minutes.
  8. Leave the Oven on once you take the baked Crust out of it.
  9. Leave the crust to come to a normal temperature.
  • WORKING TO MAKE FILLING:
  1. Take a saucepan. Add Sweetener, Melted butter, Lime juice, coconut milk, and lime zest.
  2. Turn on the flame, and set put the saucepan on the normal heat.
  3. Heat the mixture while mixing but do not allow it to boil.
  4. Start adding eggs one by one while stirring in a proper way as soon as the sweetener dissolves.
  5. Stop the stirring process once you observe the mixture become thickened & frothy.
  6. When the filling gets your required consistency then take it off the stove.
  7. Spoon the filling from the pan onto the crust (baked) in the pan.
  8. Insert the Pan back into the Oven till you observe that it sets in the middle.
  9. Take it out from the Oven and start working on the toppings.
  10. Meanwhile, our baked bars come to normal temperature.
  • ROASTING THE TOPPINGS:
  1. Place a medium-sized skillet on the normal flame.
  2. Add the coconut flakes to the skillet.
  3. Toss them till they become fragrant and start changing their color.
  4. Now roast the lime zest in the heated skillet.
  • ASSEMBLING & SERVING:
  1. Sprinkle the toppings (after toasting) on the already-baked and cooled coconut lime bars.
  2. Use the fridge to set them for about 120 or 130 minutes.
  3. Cut into twelve equal square pieces once chilled.

Wrap each bar with the cling wrap or aluminum foil in a separate manner. To prevent burning in the freezer, put it into the vessel and seal it with the lid. You can freeze them for 90 or 100 days. Leave the topping and do it after thawing.
