  • Saucepan 3
  • A Skillet

INGREDIENTS:

FOR PREPARING WRAPS:

  • Large Cabbage leaves, 12
  • Salt To taste
  • 454 grams of Beef, Grounded
  • 1 tsp of Chilli powder
  • Half a teaspoon of Cumin
  • Black pepper, freshly ground, To Taste
  • Paprika Powder 1/2 tsp.

FOR MAKING CHEESE SAUCE:

  • 1/4 cup of Heavy Cream
  • One cup of Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • 57 g of Cream Cheese.
  • Butter, 1 Tablespoon
  • Garlic powder, One-eighth teaspoon.
  • 1/4 teaspoon of mustard powder.

TO MAKE CHEESE CRISPS:

  • Two cups of Cheddar Cheese, Shredded.

FOR TOPPINGS:

  • 1 cup of Cheddar Cheese, Grated.
  • Two Cups of Lettuce, thinly chopped
  • Sour Cream 1 cup
  • A cup of Chopped Tomatoes.

INSTRUCTIONS:

STEAM THE CABBAGE:

  1. Place Water in a saucepan to boil. On a side of the Counter, Set a Sieve over a Bowl to drain water from the boiled Cabbage.
  2. Once the Water starts boiling, add cabbage leaves to the boiling water just to make them a little tender. Take them out with a slotted spoon place them in the Colander and wait for the water to drain completely.

MAKE CHEESE SAUCE:

  1. Add all the ingredients without the Cheddar cheese listed for the Cheese sauce in a heated Pan.
  2. Mix and Cook while stirring with a spoon and bring it to a boil.
  3. Add Shredded Cheddar Cheese once, the mixture starts to boil.
  4. Cook until the cheese melts and mix properly with the mixture.
  5. Dish out the Cheese Sauce and keep it at a Warm place.

PREPARE CHEESE CRISPS:

  1. Place a non-stick pan on the stove and heat it. Add the Half-cup of Shredded Cheese once the pan is heated.
  2. Wait until it becomes golden and crispy from the bottom. Now turn the golden side upwards and wait for the opposite side to become crisp in texture. Your Cheese Crisp is ready.
  3. Make the 3 more crisps from the remaining Shredded cheese using a similar procedure.

BEEF COOKING:

  1. If the Non-Stick pan has excess oil then clean the extra oil with the tissue.
  2. Place the pan again on the Flame.
  3. Add Ground beef with Seasonings and Spices.
  4. Cook while breaking it with the spoon till the beef has changed its colour from uncooked pink to cooked brown colour.
  5. Take out the Melted Fat.

ASSEMBLING:

  1. Take a comparatively larger piece of Cabbage and place it on your working counter.
  2. Add a spoonful of Prepared Beef leaving the spaces on the edges to fold. Put the Cheese crisp on it.
  3. Now cover the cheese crisp with 1/4 of the total Sour cream and then a Quarter of the prepared cheese sauce
  4. Top it with One-fourth of each of the Lettuce, Tomato, and Cheese.
  5. Place another relatively small piece of Cabbage over it and fold the leftover edges of the bottom cabbage layer tightly over the top layer covering the sides nicely.
  6. Make three more crunch wraps with the remaining ingredients
  7. Make two portions of each Wrap and eat along with the sauce as a dip.

TIPS:

When you are cooking ground beef, you must keep it mixing till it changes its colour to keep it separate.
Always use Non- stick pan to make cheese crisps so that they can come out easily without creating any mess.
Divide Cheese Sauce, Shredded cheese, Sour cream, Lettuce, and Tomatoes into four equal portions before Assembling so that each crunch wrap gets an equal amount of filling.

STORAGE INFORMATION:

It is better to serve fresh and Warm but if you are left with some of the uneaten Crunch Wraps then Place them in a tiffin box with a tight lid and use them within a couple of days while keeping it in a chilled place. Heat it for about half a minute in the Microwave when serving.
