INGREDIENTS:

FOR THE KETO BROWNIE:

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup Erythritol
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp. baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup sugar-free dark chocolate chips

  • 2 tbsp. powdered Erythritol

  • A few drops of peppermint extract

INSTRUCTION:

TO MAKE THE BROWNIE:

  1. We preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Take a large mixing bowl and add the salt, Erythritol, almond flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder and mix with the whisk.
  3. We can add the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract in the same bowl.
  4. Combine them with the whisk till they get smooth.
  5. We can transfer the brownie batter to the baking dish and bake it for 25 to 30 minutes.
  6. Check the brownie with the tooth if it comes clean then it’s done.
  7. You can take out the dish from the oven and let it cool down then we can take the knife and cut the cubes of the brownie.

TO MAKE THE WHIP CREAM:

  1. We can grab a separate bowl and add the heavy cream with powdered Erythritol & vanilla extract.
  2. Whip the cream till it forms soft peaks also add a few drops of peppermint extract.

ASSEMBLE AND SERVE THE DESSERT:

  1. We can arrange the brownie cubes in the bottom of the trifle dish.
  2. Then add a good amount of whipped cream over the brownie layer.
  3. You can fill the entire trifle dish with the same pattern and end with the final layer of whipped cream.
  4. Put the assembled trifle in the fridge and chill it for at least 2 hours so that the flavors will get incorporated with each other.
  5. Then we can garnish the trifle dish with the chocolate chips and we can also dust the trifle with the cocoa powder.

TIPS:

We would have to cut the brownies into cubes when they get completely cooled down to avoid crumbling and to avoid getting soggy.
