Keto Pavlova

This Keto Pavlova is very airy, delicious, & tasty. This recipe is sugar-free and prepared more easily than traditional Pavlova. This Pavlova is crispy from the exterior and they are as soft as marshmallow from the interior. This is topped with coconut flakes but we can also top this with other things like chocolate chips, fresh fruits, or dry fruits. This Keto Pavlova recipe is ready with simple components that are effortlessly present in-home storage or grocery stores. It is best to consume this dessert within one day but if we want to store this dish then store the base separately in ambient temperature and the filling in the fridge for 2-3 days. This dish only contains 2g of carbs, 1g of proteins, 1g of fiber, & 1g of net carbs/serving.

INGREDIENTS:

PAVLOVA BASE:

  • 6 egg whites
  • ½ tsp. cream of tartar
  • One-third cup Powdered Erythritol
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract

FILLING:

  • One cup Heavy Cream
  • A teaspoon vanilla extract
  • One tablespoon granulated Erythritol
  • ¼ cup sugar-free shredded coconut

INSTRUCTION:

TO MAKE PAVLOVA BASE:

  1. Heat the oven to 100 degrees C or 210 degrees F.
  2. Plug in the stand mixer and add the egg whites in them and whisk the egg whites till they get white & foamy.
  3. Off the mixer then add cream of tartar and on the mixer on low-medium speed and beat them; add the powdered Erythritol in between them.
  4. After adding the sweetener then add the vanilla essence and whisk the egg whites of high speed till they form stiff peaks.
  5. Put the meringue the spoon on the cookie sheet.
  6. Bake them for 1 & ½ hour, when it is done put it in the corner & chill it for one hour.

TO MAKE FILLING:

  1. Plug in the stand mixer again then add the heavy cream, vanilla essence, & granulated Erythritol in it.
  2. Transfer the whipped cream to the chilled Pavlova and spread it evenly then top them with the toasted coconut.

SERVING IDEAS:

We can garnish our keto Pavlova with fresh berries or keto-friendly fruits or chocolate chips; it can add the colors as well as give the natural sweetness to this.

  • Melt some keto-friendly chocolate and pour it over the keto Pavlova.
  • If we want to have the zesty tang with the sweetness of this dessert then serve this dessert with sugar-free & homemade lemon curd
  • Garnish this Keto Pavlova with chopped nuts like pistachios, almonds, peanuts, or walnuts to get the crunchy twist in this dessert.
  • We can also add the essence of different nuts or others (vanilla, caramel, coffee, orange, lemon, & almond) in the whipped cream to make it more flavors full.
  • If we want to make it fancy then we can serve this dessert with the keto-friendly vanilla or chocolate ice cream.

TIPS:

  • To make the perfect meringue; we have to make sure that our eggs should be at ambient temperature. These eggs whip greatly and form the stiff peaks easily.
  • The equipment we utilize to make the meringue should be properly clean, free from any oil, and also properly dried. Because stiff peaks of eggs will not form if it will not cleaned.
  • Bake the Pavlova at low temperature so it will not get brown quickly or get burn, we have to attain a marshmallow like appearance and taste.
  • Do not open & close the oven door during the baking of Pavlova; as the meringue will get collapse because of this.
  • Before we whisk the whipped cream; chill the bowl of the cream in the freezer to get a nice whipped cream.
  • When the stiff peaks of cream form; stop the process otherwise it will turn into butter.
  • We can easily top the Pavlova according to our liking.

  • We can store the Pavlova base in a sealed box for two to three days.

FRIDGE:

  • It is not advised to store the Pavlova as the base becomes soggy and mushy due to the moisture there.
    >We can store the whipped cream topping for 1 to 2 days but still it is best to consume the whipped cream fresh.
