INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb. Cremini mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp. Olive oil
  • 2 tsp. Balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp. Fresh thyme
  • 2 tsp. Fresh parsley
  • ½ tsp. Garlic powder
  • ¾ tsp. Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp. Black pepper
  • Balsamic reduction

INSTRUCTION:

  • Heat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Apply a little oil on the sheet with the brush.
  • Take a large bowl and add black pepper powder, parsley, salt, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, olive oil, & thyme in it and mix them with the whisk.
  • Transfer the mushroom in the bowl of seasoning and shake the mushroom to cover them completely in the seasoning.
  • Then put the mushrooms in the one layer in the sheet with little distance that they do not overlap one another.
  • Put the mushrooms to roast for twenty-five minutes till they get soft & puckered.
  • When they gets done take them out & garnish them with fresh thyme, & parsley.
  • We can also pour some balsamic reduction to give it a little sweet touch.

TIPS:

  • If the mushrooms are wet you can dry the mushrooms with the paper towel completely. If the mushrooms remain wet didn’t get caramelized and brown & will get mushy.
  • We can roast the mushrooms according to the size of them; the time depends on it like if they are small they gets roast in less time than large size ones.
  • If you want to make the mushrooms more flavorful then marinate them for three to four hours then roast them. It will be more flavorful then before.
  • Do not use brown paper to roast the mushrooms, it will not get brown properly you can use aluminum foil or roast it in pan.
  • Just put enough mushrooms that are properly placed on the sheet. Do not get them overcrowded because they will get mushy instead of getting roasted.
  • When the mushrooms are roasted, garnish them with the balsamic reduction, or with the parmesan cheese to make it cheesy.

  • We can place the remaining mushrooms in the air-tight box and store them for three to five days. Warm up them in the oven and use them to make some sauce or in the salads.

FREEZER:

  • You can also keep these mushrooms in the close box and keep the mushrooms for 3 months. Do not freeze raw mushrooms as they will tend to lose their texture.

REHEAT:

  • We can reheat these roasted mushrooms in the oven at three-fifty degrees F.
