These Oreo Stuffed Cinnamon rolls are the perfect combination of a classic cinnamon roll with Oreo cookies. We can make these heavenly amazing rolls for our amazing weekend or prepare for brunch. These puffy Oreo cinnamon rolls are easy to make and you can make them at home by using only 3 ingredients.
Ingredients
To make the delicious Weight Watchers Oreo Stuff Cinnamon rolls we need,
Cinnamon rolls Dough
- Buttermilk 1 cup (240g) makes the dough puffy and flavorsome.
- Granulated sugar 1/2 cup (200g)
- Instant yeast 1 packet (7g) which raises the dough
- Butter 1/2g, we used unsalted and salted butter according to our choice. If we are using salted butter, then we will not use salt.
- Egg 1
- Egg yolk 1
- Salt 1 tbsp
- All-purpose flour 1/2 cup (540g)
Cinnamon Oreo filling
- Oreo 1 1/2 cups- maximum 6 crushed Oreo cookies
- Black cocoa powder 2 tbsp
- Cinnamon 1 tbsp
- Brown sugar 100 g
- Unsalted butter 1/2 cup
For topping
- Cream cheese 2 tbsp
- Whipping cream 1/2 cup (120g)
- Vanilla extract 1 tbsp
- Salt ( 1 pinch)
- Milk 2 tbsp
- Brown Sugar 210g
Instructions
- To make the cinnamon roll dough, firstly we will put the buttermilk in a mixing bowl and heat it until slightly warm.
- Then, add granulated sugar to this buttermilk and whisk it until sugar is not properly dissolved into this buttermilk, and dust yeast on top.
- Next step, we will take another bowl and add an egg, melted butter, and a pinch of salt and whisk it.
- Add this mixture to the yeast mixture.
- In the next step, we will use a stand mixer machine to knead the dough.
- In this machine, we will add 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour.
- Mix it at a low pace until the flour is not properly combined.
- After kneading the dough, we will shift this dough into the large bowl and then cover it and put it into a warm place for an hour where it can rise.
For cinnamon Oreo filling,
- We will take a bowl and add melted butter, brown sugar, crushed Oreos, black cocoa powder, and cinnamon and whisk all ingredients.
- When the dough is doubled up, we will make the roll of this dough.
- Firstly, we will gently spread dry flour on the surface roll dough.
- Cut the dough into round or rectangular pieces according to your choice.
- We will spread cinnamon filling over the dough equally.
- Then we will pack this roll tightly and cut it into the 10-12 rolls and place them in a lightly greased pan.
- Again we will cover the rolls and set them aside at room temperature for an hour.
- After that, we will bake the roll at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes until it’s lightly browned.
For the topping
- We will add whipped cream and cream cheese.
- For this, we will take a stand mixer machine and add whipped cream, cheese cream, vanilla extract, brown sugar, and milk.
- Mix it until smooth. In this, we will add a pinch of salt according to the taste.
- Spread this creamy and smooth texture over the slightly warm rolls.
Tips
- To make the cinnamon rolls, weigh all the ingredients accurately
- Don’t overheat the buttermilk
- Use a knife, to Cut the rolls into evenly shaped ones
- Don’t overbake the rolls otherwise, they will burnt

In this recipe, we can use both unsalted and salted butter.
We can use prepared dough which is easily available in the market, or we can prepare it at home.
