INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can refrigerated reduced-fat biscuit dough (8 biscuits)

Cornstarch:

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Set the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Put a paper towel on a cooking pan.
  3. In a small skillet, combine the cinnamon, sweetener, & diced apples.
  4. Combine cornstarch & water in a cup & stir till smooth.
  5. To the apples, add the cornstarch mixture.
  6. Put it on the low flame and bake it for 3 to 4 minutes.
  7. The mixture should thicken, & the apples should get softer. Take off the heat.
  8. Divide the biscuit dough into eight portions.
  9. Using your hands, slightly flatten each piece.
  10. Fill each dough piece’s center with 1 spoonful of apple filling.
  11. To seal, pinch the edges. Form into spheres.
  12. Arrange the baking sheet with the seam side facing down.
  13. Lightly spread melted butter over the tops.
  14. Add more sugar & cinnamon. Sprinkle explosives on top.
  15. Bake till golden brown, 12 to 15 minutes.
  16. Warm up & serve.

TIPS

  • Leaks should be avoided by avoiding overfilling.
  • In the case of rather juicy apples, cook for a longer time to evaporate the liquid.
  • Parchment paper prevents sticking & facilitates cleanup.
  • Make filling in advance & keep in fridge for 2 days.
