INGREDIENTS:

INGREDIENT NOTES

Applesauce:

  • Moistens the cake, can substitute oil & provides sweetness that is natural and reduces fat and points.

Apples:

  • Sweet-tart varieties, such as Honeycrisp/Fuji, are best to offer a sweet flavor. Cut even across & it will bake soft.

Self-Rising Flour:

  • It saves time as it has baking powder incorporated in it. When working with all-purpose flour, you should add 1 to 1/2 tsp baking powder and a pinch of salt.

Sugar Substitute:
