INSTRUCTIONS

- Blend the flour, sweetener, the essence of vanilla, almond the extract, and salt.
- Whisk till it’s completely blended and smooth.
- Fill the prepared dish with half of the batter.
- Scatter the berries evenly across the batter’s surface.
- Pour any remaining batter over the berries.
- Sprinkle sliced almonds equally over the top.
- Put the dish in the microwave in the middle rack.
- Cook for the next thirty five minutes, till it has set in the center and is light golden on the sides.
- A piece of dental floss put into the middle should come out quite dry.
- Now when remove from oven take rest then for the next ten mintues.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired. Serve either warm or cooled.
TIPS:
- Put the clafoutis in a glass or ceramic dish to facilitate even cooking.
- When flour is added to the batter, do not overmix. Stir just until smooth.
- Allow the baked clafoutis to set to become firm.
