INGREDIENT NOTES:
BUTTER:
- Butter mixes easily with the brown sugar and makes a smooth dough when we soften it before adding. You may use reduced-fat baking spread as per your preference.
BROWN SUGAR:
- This gives a sweet taste and soft texture to the cookies. It includes a mild caramel-like taste in the dessert. You may use granulated sugar as another choice.
MILK CHOCOLATE DROPS:
- They give a sweet taste and creamy chocolate taste to the balls. These drops make the small cookies taste more indulgent. You may use extra dark chocolate drops as an alternative.
DARK CHOCOLATE:
- It makes the firm chocolate base around the baked cookie. This dark chocolate sets well when we chill and gives an attractive look to the balls. You may use sugar-reduced dark chocolate as a substitute.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- First, mix softened butter and brown sugar in the bowl.
- Then mix the egg, vanilla, and flour slowly to make the soft cookie dough.
- Include the milk chocolate drops and dark chocolate drops, then mix gently.
- Roll a small amount of dough into a small ball to fit well inside the mold.
- Press the dough ball gently into the mold, then warm the oven to 180°C.
- Put the filled mold on the tray and bake for 12 minutes, then cool them completely.
- Melt the dark chocolate gently in the microwave with short intervals to make it completely smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate into the mold and fill it halfway, then add one cooled cookie on top of it.
