LEAN GROUND BEEF:

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR:

  • It gives acidity and keeps the meal from tasting too rich. This vinegar brings out the natural sweetness of the cabbage. You may use red wine vinegar as an alternative.

CABBAGE:

  • This cabbage gives plenty of volume and texture to the recipe. It becomes sweet and tender when we cook. You may use green cabbage as another option.

COOKING SPRAY:

  • We use it instead of olive oil to make the recipe lighter. You may use 1 tsp olive oil as a substitute.

REDUCED-FAT CHEDDAR CHEESE:

  • This cheese gives a creamy taste to the dish and keeps the skillet from getting heavy. You may use reduced-fat mozzarella as per your choice.
