  • ½ cup fat-free ricotta cheese

PUFF PASTERY :

  • Use a lower-fat or “light” puff pastry to reduce calories and WW points. Brands like Pepperidge Farm offer a lighter option. try using phyllo, which is much lighter but more delicate.

SPINACH:

  • Fresh spinach is best for flavor and nutrition. Make sure to sauté and drain it well to avoid soggy pastry. You can also substitute frozen spinach.

RICOTTA CHEESE:

  • This keeps the filling creamy but low in fat and calories. You can use this regularly if you prefer.

MOZZARELLA CHEESE:

EGGS:

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Before the backing puff rolls, the oven is preheated to 400°F (200°C). Baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Mix a filling in a bowl, combine the sautéed spinach, fat-free ricotta, shredded mozzarella, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, gently roll out the puff pastry sheet to smooth out creases.
  5. Now we make equal slices of puff pastry sheets with a knife.
  6. The puff pastry sheet is filled the cheese, and leaving small border around the edge.
  7. Then we put the rolls on the tray at an equal distance, cut side facing upwards.
  8. For a shiny look, beat the eggs and brush the top of the rolls smoothly.
  9. Before baking the first of all preheated oven for 18–20 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed up and golden brown.
  10. Let the rolls cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
