INGREDIENTS:

FOR THE PANCAKES:

  • 500 g ground beef

INGREDIENT NOTES:

GROUND BEEF:

  • We have to use lean ground beef to make these pancakes. It will provide the low-fat, nice for keeping calories low. Use the ground turkey instead for this purpose.

MOZZARELLA CHEESE:

  • Mozzarella cheese will make the creamy and melty middle part of these pancakes. Utilize the queso or fresh melting cheese to provide the indulgent taste. Make the cubes to add the gooey pockets to the pancakes.

EGG:

  • Use the egg to bind the mixture of these pancakes so they keep their shape.  It will also provide the moisture content and softness in these pancakes & use the one big egg for this purpose.

ONION:

  • Use the onions to add juiciness and a sweet taste to these patties. Make the small dice so they distribute equally in the meat mix. Use the white or yellow onions to make these pancakes.

GARLIC:

  • Garlic is used to add a strong savory taste to the pancakes. Crush them finely to release the aroma and taste. Use the garlic powder instead if required, but it will not include the strong flavor.

BREADCRUMBS:

  • Breadcrumbs will absorb the additional moisture and improve the texture of these pancakes. Utilize the oats instead for this purpose if required, it will provide the extra fiber and make them more nutritious.

CILANTRO:

  • Cilantro will add a bright taste and color to the dish and will provide a bold flavor. Use the parsley instead if required.

SPICES:

  • Use the mustard, salt, paprika, cumin, & black pepper to season the pancakes. The mustard adds a soft, tangy taste and deepens the flavor. Cumin provides the warm profile, paprika delivers the light sweet taste and color, and salt will enrich the taste of all spices, while the pepper will add the light spice.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Pre-warm the air fryer at 375° F for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Then add the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onions, cilantro, garlic, egg, and spices to the vessel and mix them.
  3. Stir to mix all the components properly, and then distribute the mixture into 8 parts.
  4. Now shape the portions in the ½ inch thick patty and spray the sides with oil.
  5. Add the patties to the basket in one layer and air fry them for ten to twelve minutes by flipping them in between.
  6. Cook the patties for ten to twelve minutes till the temperature reaches 160° F.
  7. Leave the patties for three minutes, then serve with the preferred side dish.
