CREATIVE IDEAS FOR TASTE MODIFICATIONS:

RANCH FLAVOR:

  • Sprinkle the mixed powder of ranch dressing together with the powdered paprika(smoked).

NACHOS CHEESE:

  • Once your chips are ready, sprinkle the powder of cheese & a quarter cup of nutritional yeast.

HOT & SPICY:

  • Include the single teaspoon of cayenne pepper/flakes of red pepper.

SWEET & SALTY:

  • If you want to add the little sweetness then use the substitute of brown sugar along with other spices.

TIPS:

  • We recommend you don’t overboil the pasta. As they become chewy but firm, drain them right away. If you boil them extra soft then you will not get the perfect crisp/crunch.
  • We have used the penne pasta in our recipe. You are allowed to use any shape. The only requirement is that pasta must be low in carbs.

STORAGE INFORMATION:

If you have some of the crispy pasta chips remaining then pack them in a resealable container. They will be crispy, & fresh for 4/5 days.

FRIDGE:

  • If you keep them refrigerated, they may get soggy. You have to crisp them again using an oven/air fryer. You can enjoy them for fifteen days if stored in the fridge.

FREEZER:

  • Drain the cooked pasta very well, then dry them well. Then, pack the pasta into a locked vessel & keep it in the freezer for sixty/seventy days.

FAQs:

How should we choose the best pasta to make the chips?

  • First point, always go for a low-carb pasta to have the keto version of the pasta chips. The second point, it’s totally up to you, to choose the shape of pasta that you prefer. If you want to have a shape that is convenient to pick, then go for penne, rigatoni, or macaroni. Avoid spaghetti or fettuccine pasta because they are not easy to pick up.

How can I make our chips if we don’t own the air-fryer?

  • There is no issue. You can easily bake the chips in the oven too.

Do we have to serve/eat the chips alone?

  • Chips are too tasty & crunchy to eat them alone. If you don’t want to have them alone, then you may pair them with any of your favorite dips like spinach artichoke dip, Ranch dressing, pizza dip, blue cheese dressing, etc.
