- We use lemon zest to balance the sauce flavors. It also adds a beautiful aroma that will enhance the sauce flavors.
Apple:
- It’s an additional item. You can skip it if you choose not to utilize it.
Instructions
Food Blender Method
- First, cut the apples and cranberries into rough sizes by using a knife.
- Next, take a high-speed food blender to blend the fruits and other items.
- Now, add apples and cranberries to this blender.
- Blend it at high to medium speed for 3 to 4 minutes or until the fruits are finely chopped.
- Then, add maple syrup, salt, and lemon zest. Combine it for a minute.
- The tasty Weight Watchers Cranberry Sauce is ready.
- Transfer this sauce from the blender to a closed jar.
- Save this jar in the fridge for thirty to forty minutes.
- After that, serve this sauce with any dish.
Stovetop
- Add all sauce items like roughly chopped apples, cranberries, salt, lemon zest, and maple syrup to a nonstick pot.
- Shift this pot over a stovetop by adjusting its flame to medium to high.
- Next, simmer this sauce for ten to fourteen minutes until thickened, the sauce mixture.
- After fourteen minutes, switch off the flame and remove the pot.
