  6. Next, add the tomato puree and tomato paste (can) to the pan.
  7. Now, mix oregano, black pepper, basil leaves, chili pepper, salt, and cayenne spices with paste.
  8. Reduce the stovetop heat to a low flame.
  9. Simmer for approximately twenty minutes over a low fire.
