INGREDIENT NOTES:

WHOLE WHEAT BURRITO TORTILLAS:

  • This is the component that holds all the fillings together and gets crispy when we toast it in the skillet. They give more fiber than the regular ones and make the meal more filling. You may use regular flour tortillas as per your preference.

BAKED CORN TOSTADA SHELLS:

  • They make the signature crunchy layer in the Crunchwrap. Using baked tostadas keeps the fat and calories low in the recipe. You may bake a small corn tortilla as an alternative.

EXTRA LEAN GROUND TURKEY:

  • Turkey gives high protein and low fat in the wraps. It includes flavors and keeps the points low. You may use lean ground chicken as another choice.

TACO SEASONING:

  • This seasoning gives classic Tex-Mex taste to the meal. You may use low-sodium seasoning as a substitute.

NON-FAT PLAIN GREEK YOGURT:

  • We use yogurt instead of sour cream to reduce fat from the wraps. It makes the creamy texture and maintains the spicy filling. You may use fat-free sour cream as another option.

REDUCED-FAT CHEDDAR CHEESE:

  • This cheese melts beautifully and keeps the calories low. You may use reduced-fat Mexican blend as an alternative.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. First, warm the skillet on a moderate flame and cook ground turkey properly.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water to it, then for 3 minutes cook the components.
