- We make this cake with whole wheat flour. It adds lots of fiber content and a slightly nutty taste. You can also add half the quantity of all-purpose flour along with this flour to provide the light crumbs.
APPLE & CARROTS:
- Apple & carrots are used to prepare this cake. They add a natural sweet taste and moisture to the cake. Carrots help to add color to the cake. Both of them decrease the se of the added sugar because of the natural sweet taste.
DRIED FRUITS & NUTS:
- We use dried fruits and nuts to add a light, crunchy taste to this cake. Dry form of raisins or cranberries adds a slight sweet taste. The dried nuts add healthy fat content to the cake without being heavy on the calories and points.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- We warm the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Apply the parchment to the loaf pan.
- Mix all the dry ingredients in dish.
- Then include the applesauce, oil, eggs, milk, and vanilla essence in the other bowl and whisk them.
