INGREDIENTS:
GARDEN SLAW:
- Green cabbage shreds: 3 cups
- Carrot shreds: 1 medium
- Thin slices of cucumber: 1 small
- Red cabbage shreds: 1 cup
- Fresh parsley, chopped: 2 tbsp.
LEMON TAHINI DRESSING:
- Garlic: One clove
- Tahini: Two tbsp.
- Olive oil: 1 tsp.
- Fresh lemon juice: Two tbsp.
- Warm water: 2 to 3 tbsp.
- Salt: ¼ tsp.
- Black pepper: ⅛ tsp.
INGREDIENT NOTES:
TAHINI:
- Tahini is used to add creamy content to the dressing. It will eliminate the need for dairy in it. Mix it properly to incorporate the natural oils in it to provide a smooth texture.
FRESH LEMON JUICE:
- Use the fresh lemon juice to provide a bright taste, and it also balances the rich taste of tahini. We will not use the bottle of lemon juice as it will not add strong flavor.
GARLIC:
- Add the garlic to include the deep flavor and light heat in it. We have to finely mince the garlic to spread properly in the dressing.
OLIVE OIL:
- It is added to make the dressing smooth. It will add a subtle flavor and healthy fat content to it. We use a small quantity as it is enough for this purpose.
WARM WATER:
- Add the warm water to alter the dressing consistency. Add the water slowly to avoid thinning its consistency.
GREEN CABBAGE:
- Use the green cabbage to form the crispy foundation of the slaw. It also provides the structure and soaks the dressing properly.
RED CABBAGE:
- Red cabbage is utilized to add color and a light, sweet taste to this salad. It also adds crunchiness and enriches the nutrients of this salad.
CARROTS:

- We chop the vegetables & Include the vegetables in big dish.
- Mix all of these vegetables properly.
- Take a small vessel and include all the dressing components & mix them properly.
- We have to slowly add the warm water to the dish and mix softly till it becomes smooth & creamy.
- Add the tahini dressing to the vegetables.
- Mix well till these vegetables are coated slightly.
- Taste the seasoning and alter the quantity if required.
- Serve the salad.
