Ingredients

For making this Weight Watchers Cheese Straw we need a few basic ingredients

  • Parmesan Cheese 1/3 cup grated
  • Paprika 1 tsp
  • Red pepper flakes 1/8 tsp
  • Pizza dough mix 10 oz (we will use refrigerated dough)
  • Cooking spray 1 spray, buttered flavor

Instructions

  1. Firstly we will pre-heat the oven at 425 degrees.
  2. After that, We will combine grated parmesan cheese, 1 tsp paprika, and ground red pepper flakes in a bowl, mix it well, and keep it in reserve.
  3. After that, we will unfold the pizza dough, and roll it into a rectangular shape.
  4. Coat the dough surface with the cooking spray and sprinkle the cheese mixture. Firstly, We will fold the dough in half rectangle form.
  5. After that, again we will slightly coat the dough surface with cooking spray, and add the remaining cheese mixture. To press the cheese mixture into the dough we will use fingertips.
  6. With the help of a knife, we will cut the dough into 1-inch wide and 6-inch long strips. We will smoothly pick both ends of the cheese strips, and twist them.
  7. We will gently transfer the cheese straws to a greased baking sheet. For 10-15 minutes, we will bake the cheese straws at 425 degrees or until it is properly baked.
  8. After baking, we will remove from the oven and cool the cheese straws completely on a wire rack

Tips

Don’t overbake the cheese straws otherwise, it will be burnt.
Don’t make the cheese straws thin otherwise, it will break during the process.
