Instructions:

  1. Fill the food processor with all of the shredded ingredients. Add one cracked egg to the whole thing.
  2. In the food processor, process the items while everything is finely minced. There should still be a few grains in the mixture, so take care not to overprocess.
  3. Empty the contents of the food mixer into a big bowl.
  4. Form the mixture into thirteen to fourteen round balls, about the size of a walnut, using your hands to form them.
  5. Preheat the air fry to 190°C, or 375°F.
  6. Leaving room between each lentil ball, place it in the air fryer basket. Next, use a spray bottle to gently and softly mist each falafel with olive oil.
  7. Bake them for between twenty and twenty-five minutes, up to the point they are crunchy and golden brown, in the air fryer that is warming. To guarantee uniform browning, don’t forget to rotate them throughout the cooking process.
  8. After they are complete, take them out of the seal fryer and let them cool a little while distributing them.

Notes:
  • Use either bleached or unblanched, depending on your taste. An unblanched flour meal has a grainy yet extremely brittle texture, but blanched almond flour, on the other hand, will give your falafel a little smoother appearance.
  • Let the remaining falafels cool to room temperature before proceeding. After that, store the items in an airtight bag in a freezer for no less than four days.
  • If you are looking to store the falafels for longer, freeze them before frying. Arrange them in a cookie sheet to bake in a single layer, then freeze while solid. After they’re frozen, store them at room temperature for up to three months before transferring them to an open container or freezer bag.
