INGREDIENTS:
- 4 pieces chicken
- 1 cup whole almonds
- ¼ cup slivered almonds
- 4 medium tomatoes
- ½ white onion
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 rehydrated and seeded guajillo chiles
- 1 corn tortilla

- 1 bay leaf

CHICKEN:
- Use the chicken breast to make this dish. It will provide the protein without the additional fat content. Pound the thick chicken pieces if required. You can also use thighs, or legs for this purpose.
ALMONDS:
- Almonds will help to make the nutty and creamy sauce. Use the silver almonds to garnish the dish in last and it also provides the crunchy taste.
SEASONING:
- Use the salt, & black pepper to provide the light spice and also boost the flavor of sauce and chicken.
GUAJILLO CHILIES:
- These chilies are lightly spicy and have a sweet and smoky taste. Soak them for some time to soften them then it blends smoothly in a sauce.
CHICKEN BROTH:
- Chicken broth is used to form the base of the sauce. Use the store broth for the convenience but homemade is also the option.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- First, soak the chilies in warm water for ten to fifteen minutes to make them soft and remove their stems and seeds.
- Add the oil and warm it and include the onions, tomatoes, garlic, cinnamon, cloves, and bay leaves and saute them till aromatic.
- Roast the almond in the dry pan separately till golden.
- Add the saute mix, almonds, chilies, tortillas, and chicken broth in the blender and blend to make smooth paste.
- Now pour the sauce in pan and simmer it for ten to fifteen minutes till it get thick.
- Sprinkle the black pepper and salt and mix.
- Add the black pepper, & salt to season the chicken and air fry for twenty-five to thirty five minutes.
- Now add the almond sauce on the chicken and simmer for five minutes.
- Add the silver almonds on top and serve
